Lactec is a private research and technological innovation development institute, with multidisciplinary teams in various fields of knowledge: civil engineering, hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, chemistry, materials, electronics, computer science, and environmental studies. For over six decades, Lactec has contributed to the development of the industrial sector with Research and Development projects, technological services, and laboratory testing and analysis, catering to the needs of businesses, with a particular focus on the energy sector. It operates five units in Curitiba and one in Salvador, equipped with over 30 laboratories to test products, creating innovative solutions to strengthen the country’s economy and improve people’s lives.

At its headquarters, Lactec installed floor-to-ceiling double-glazed partitions (S60 model) with built-in blinds and natural tauari wood slat panels. The corporate furniture features the Diedro line, with a minimalist, industrial design, tubular legs, and straight-cut tops. The auditorium is equipped with power outlets integrated into the seating arrangements.
